"Finally, I suspect that it is by entering that deep place inside us where our secrets are kept that we come perhaps closer than we do anywhere else to the One who, whether we realize it or not, is of all our secrets the most telling and the most precious we have to tell." Frederick Buechner
Come in! Come in!
"If you are a dreamer, come in. If you are a dreamer, a wisher, a liar, a Hope-er, a Pray-er, a Magic Bean buyer; if you're a pretender, come sit by my fire. For we have some flax-golden tales to spin. Come in! Come in!" -- Shel Silverstein

The Ballad of Sarah Palin
Well, it didn't take the folks at "JibJab" long to get this one out.
Then again, they were given so much to work with last night. If she had just told us her story - given us her very human face - instead of smart-mouthed sarcasm and partisan smack-downs.
You know, a little more of what got her voted "Ms. Congeniality" and a little less of what earned her the tag "Sarah Barracuda."
And, don't even START with me about "they wouldn't do that to a man."
If you know anything about JibJab, you know that Dan Quayle and George (Dubya and H) Bush haven't escaped. Neither have Hillary and Bill Clinton, and all the "Johns" - Edwards, Kerry and McCain. So, too, with Michele and Barack Obama.
In fact, no one is off limits with that hilariously irreverent crew.
I can't wait to hear what Ms. Betty Butterfield has to say about Ms. Sarah Palin. I'm betting before the beginning of next week she'll have something on YouTube.
You can check out what she had to say about Election 2008 before the primaries.
Not surprisingly, Our Ms. Betty says that she's voting for Ron Paul, "'cuz he's about legalizing everything I enjoy."
Oh, one word of caution: No food or drink in your hand before you watch either of these clips. Your computer/laptop screen might be permanently ruined.

These are very very funny... lots of creative folks out there:)
Thanks for the hoot!
Hooting is essential to Christian faith and life.
I personally think Ms. Butterfield is a prophet ... in the most literal sense, of course ;-)
This is too, too much!
Can I get a "hoot! Hoot!"
