A Valentine's Day Card from Mad Priest

LOVE IS...

willingly crossing
an ocean to be
insulted by the
despisers, so that
the world may
come to know
the way of the
Lord Jesus Christ.

Do visit MadPriest's blog for some profound and some witty and other wickedly naughty cartoon essays on the State of the Church and the Anglican Communion.

  1. We really should invite MP into a virtual chat room for afternoon tea. As he is a Brit and by that gene pool a subject matter expert regarding tea, we should let him pick the beverage. Now, would that be what is referred to as "High Tea". Also, the ladies should wear white gloves.

  3. But, darling, will you wear white gloves?

I will only if the boys where their best bib and tucker and promise NOT to smoke cigars.

  4. ok, I'm semi-ignorant, what is a tucker.

  5. This term originated not in any figurative sense, but literally - both bibs and tuckers were items of women's clothing from the 17th to late 19th centuries.

  6. I may be gay, but I'm not cross-dressing. I do have an image to uphold, thank you very much. Unless of course its fashionable and somewhat slimming.
