"Finally, I suspect that it is by entering that deep place inside us where our secrets are kept that we come perhaps closer than we do anywhere else to the One who, whether we realize it or not, is of all our secrets the most telling and the most precious we have to tell." Frederick Buechner

Father Jake Stops the World: Who is Worth Killing?
Hopefully, this is simply a matter of a poor choice of words, but since words like these would not be overlooked by security in any airport in any country in the world, I think we might want to consider taking them with equal serious consideration.

ReplyDeleteElizabeth & Jake thank-you for posting this.

Linking to a post and bottom feeding (AKA "trolling") are two very, very different things, Ranter.
ReplyDeleteHaving lived through two Kennedys and a King, I can see where this type of language is disturbing. As soon as a person is controversial he/she becomes a target for the extreme factions on both sides. It really should be thought of "Who is worth living?" and the answer is all of us. We can talk. We can disagree. We can even live with one another if we maintain civility.
