It all started when Klady taught me how to add a permalink to my posts.
Then, suddenly, I discovered the font changes. Then, I thought about upgrading the look - the color - the feel.
You change one thing and well . . . now you know how the conservatives feel.
You know, I may not like not being the 'Pepto Bismol Pink Lady'. It seemed to annoy the neo-Puritans so.
I've been meaning to do this for awhile.
I'll live with it for a bit and see how it feels.
So, what do YOU think?

I like the color and spaciousness, but sans serif fonts are actually harder on the eyes, though everyone these days seems to love them. I learned about this in Fonts 101, which actually was an informal home course with no name from my dad. So that's why books and newspapers are in serif fonts.
ReplyDeleteSo I'd suggest keeping the light airy look but going to a serif font (the one I use is Georgia, rounder and less boring than Times Roman) -- there isn't a lot of choice on Blogger.
Then again, re: the color, I think you should be the pink lady if you want to be!

Okay, okay, Maddy. I said I was going to live with it for a while. We'll see. BTW, I LIKE that photo of me. It's what I do most at St. Paul's. We're waiting for our 1,000th baptism. We have one scheduled for June. We'll see who comes forward for the Great Vigil of Easter.

I like the photo. I do believe MP is becoming a curmudgeon. Our Elizabeth is very much in her element bouncing babies at a Baptismal service. She doesn’t like giving them back to the mother but that’s a minor problem.

Excuse me. But where exactly did I write "It's a BAD picture?" As far as I can remember I wrote that it was a soppy picture.

Anyway, I'm only saying. It's Lisbeth's blog. If she wants to look like a broody evangelical that's up to her. All I can do is offer advice as I'm always happy to do for all my friends.
While I love the layout, I'm afraid I miss the pink.

ReplyDeleteA little colour (not pink) might not hurt.
But overall it's easier on the eyes.
