Mother's Day for Peace

As you remember your mother tomorrow, remember also the Mother of this day, Julia Ward Howe in 1870, and work for peace.

  2. What on earth are you on about , woman? It's not Mother's day. We did it back on the 2nd. March. Mothering Sunday. Call yourself an Anglican - you're nothing but soppy secularist enslaved to the constant greed of the greeting card companies.

You yanks! The next thing you'll be all celebrating "Lesbian Grandmothers Day" - with the relevant greeting card, of course.

"What are you buying your grandmother for Lesbian Grandmother Day this year?"

"Oh, I expect I'll get her lipstick again."

  3. Ah, hello there Maddy. Got a touch of the British myopia, eh? Yes, we Yanks celebrate our Mums a bit differently than you Brits, but some of us (ahem) are trying to remind us of the REAL reason for this day: Peace.

I do love the Lesbian Grandmother Day idea. Brilliant, darling. Brilliant. I'm on the case. Thank you.

  4. Get the Greeting Card franchise wrapped up before you announce it. I'm not greedy - I'll take 2% of profits as my cut.

  5. Deal. I was going to offer you 5% but this is a much better deal. I don't think you have any idea how HUGE this is going to be. I only wish I had your skill at PhotoShop.

Be a lamb and do a little something for me. Launch the first Lesbian Grandmother's Day Card. I'll give you the 5%. Promise.
