"Finally, I suspect that it is by entering that deep place inside us where our secrets are kept that we come perhaps closer than we do anywhere else to the One who, whether we realize it or not, is of all our secrets the most telling and the most precious we have to tell." Frederick Buechner

"I See The Moon."
He knocked it out of the park this morning. Actually even sang!
G'wan over and give it a read. You can find it here.
You won't be disappointed. Promise.

This is a grand slam! Well done, Jon!
ReplyDeleteEver since I observed the moon with a dear friend several years ago, this is what I pray every time I see the moon or look up at the night sky. I never heard this song until a few minutes ago!
I was there and yes, it was a great sermon. Jon has that down-home story telling capability that is more instinct than skill. I thought I was listening to a sampling of "To Kill A Mocking Bird".
ReplyDeleteThanks, whiteycat :) I've been very fortunate to have a pretty amazing mentor.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you got to hear the song to go with your great moon memory!
