"Finally, I suspect that it is by entering that deep place inside us where our secrets are kept that we come perhaps closer than we do anywhere else to the One who, whether we realize it or not, is of all our secrets the most telling and the most precious we have to tell." Frederick Buechner

It just doesn't get much better than this!
After you finish visiting PeaceBang's Blog, do consider treating yourself to these two amazing pieces from Trinity Wall Street.
The first is "Four Minutes of Coral Heaven" by the TWS Choir, now touring in Italy. The website advises
"Warning: The beauty of this performance has brought listeners to tears. But if you like early Italian music, here’s a great way to catch up with the Trinity Choir as they continue their European tour.
The videos are from the recent Trinity Choir concert of Giacomo Carissimi's Jephte, an Oratorio, and Claudio Monteverdi's Sacred Works.
The short clip will play the final chorus of Jephte. You can also follow the link to view the full concert."
Can I just say, WOW!?
Then, in honor of Black History Month, head on over to an evening with Bernice Johnson Reagon.
Trinity Institute: Bernice Johnson Reagon in Concert
Date: Tuesday, January 23, 2007
Time: 8:00PM - 10:00PM
Location: Trinity Church
Bernice Johnson Reagon, composer, singer, and scholar, has been a major cultural voice for freedom and justice for more than forty years. Excelling equally in the realms of scholarship, composition, teaching, and performance, she is one of the distinctive voices on the transformative power and instruction of traditional African American music and cultural history. After 30 years as leaders and singer, Reagon retired from Sweet Honey in the Rock, the group she founded in 1973. This concert is part of Trinity Institute's 37th National Theological Conference, God's Unfinished Future: Why It Matters Now.
Did I mention WOW?
Yeah, that's it. Just, WOW!
