The Episcopal Diocese of Newark Responds to Haiti

I am encouraging all congregations everywhere to try to match the generosity of the Diocesan Council of the Episcopal Diocese of Newark.

Generosity inspires generosity.

My experience is that, while generosity is its own reward, when we give out of a sense of gratitude for the abundance that God has generously given us, it always comes back full measure, pressed down and overflowing and in even better quality than that which was given.

Sort of like the story of the Miracle of the Wedding Feast at Cana which we will hear in church on Sunday

Let us be inspired to contribute as generously as we can.
