Come in! Come in!

"If you are a dreamer, come in. If you are a dreamer, a wisher, a liar, a Hope-er, a Pray-er, a Magic Bean buyer; if you're a pretender, come sit by my fire. For we have some flax-golden tales to spin. Come in! Come in!" -- Shel Silverstein

You just can't make this stuff up!

Thus saith the Lord, "I will destroy him that pisseth against the wall" (KJV)

This preacher tells us that "this phrase comes from the mouth of the Lord six times in scripture."

See, for example: 1 Kings 16:11 - "And it came to pass, when he began to reign, as soon as he sat on his throne, that he slew all the house of Baasha: he left him not one that pisseth against a wall, neither of his kinsfolks, nor of his friends."

The preacher concludes: "That's what's wrong with America, my friends. I will not pee sitting down."

(Caution: You might wet yourself laughing when you listen to this, so don't sit down while you read this, or you may be struck dead.)

Males are bad, men are good. Is a mail man extra good? Well, I guess as long as he pisseth against the wall!

I don't make it up.

In Hebrew the phrase 'the one who pisses against a wall' refers to male as opposed to female. The sentence is not condemning pissing on a wall!

Thanks for clearing that up, Rev. Don.

koff-koff - - ok, between this and the posting from Susan, I've had my share of giggles for the next month! (as he goes to find paper towels and windex to clean his monitor off again...)

Cheers!
