SNL: Palin and Clinton
Don't miss the review of this show by Huffington Post's Rachel Sclar. My favorite part of the review:
"Please note that, though Fey stole the show with her Palin (never mind the look, wow did she ever nail the voice!), the best line of the entire show belonged to Poehler's Hillary: "In conclusion, I invite the media to grow a pair. And if you can't, I will lend you mine." BRAVA!"
Thanks to Marcia for my new favorite quote about the "New Feminism" represented by Mrs. Palin:
Sarah Palin is to Feminism . . . . .
. . . . what Clarence Thomas is to Civil Rights.
Brava, indeed!

That was brilliant indeed. The day that Palin was named, I got an email from my friend who works in the news business and she wrote "Tina Fey with a bun." This was a moment waiting to happen.
While this is funny, we also know that it is not, as you rather aptly point out with Clarence's photo.
I was not a great supporter of Hillary Clinton for president. I however will always say that she has done her job as the senator from NY, even when I disagree with her.
The woman is flat out brilliant and a politician, in the good and the bad sense of the word, without many peers.
To think that Sarah Palin is where she is saddens me and outrages me beyond belief.
Related or not I simply pose this - something I am reluctant to write about on my blog... Yesterday (quelle suprise, i am on some catholic mailing lists) I got an email from Pro-Life Pharmacists.
The pharmacist in the email proudly sells no birth control of any sort.
I was emailing with a couple of my other blog friends and I said that I thought this happened now for a reason.
The other side is emboldened by Palin's very presence.
That frightens me.
A lot.
Oh bravo for the analogy to Thomas. I loved that. The SNL skit was sooooo funny. Tina Fey is my hero now! This has been getting tremendous play all over the media today. LOL. I love it.
