On June 15th, The Episcopal Church of St. Paul baptized our 1,000th member, Sabrina Yu Shan.
We are blessed to have in our community a professional film maker, Vern Oakley, whose staff at TRIBE Pictures (in Chatham) edited down more than an hour of video to a two minute thirty second "taste" of the day.
We are excited and delighted to share that video with you now which you can see by clicking here.
Note: Some have noted a bit of a glitch. If you notice that the video is "off center", click on the "TRIBE" icon just below it which will take you to the TRIBE web page. Then, click back to the video and - voila! - centered. (I'm thinking it's a very suspicious glitch ;~>)
"Finally, I suspect that it is by entering that deep place inside us where our secrets are kept that we come perhaps closer than we do anywhere else to the One who, whether we realize it or not, is of all our secrets the most telling and the most precious we have to tell." Frederick Buechner
Come in! Come in!
"If you are a dreamer, come in. If you are a dreamer, a wisher, a liar, a Hope-er, a Pray-er, a Magic Bean buyer; if you're a pretender, come sit by my fire. For we have some flax-golden tales to spin. Come in! Come in!" -- Shel Silverstein

CONGRATULATIONS! That, my dear is what we call a Mitzvah. Wait. you already knew that.
Oh my- that is just so beautiful!
That was a treat! Thank you for sharing with the rest of us.
I love, love LOVE baptisms. We've got another one (1,002) coming up in a few weeks - Becket is his name - and I can't wait.
Wish I could get them all on tape - especially on a day when I'm having a better hair day!
Welcome Sabrina!

I keep thinking of this so I have returned. With my sacraments class in full swing, I am a bit more attuned to this than usual.
Sacrament.
Grace.
Beautiful.
While I don't know you in person (yet!) I thought your hair did look great!!!
