"Finally, I suspect that it is by entering that deep place inside us where our secrets are kept that we come perhaps closer than we do anywhere else to the One who, whether we realize it or not, is of all our secrets the most telling and the most precious we have to tell." Frederick Buechner
Come in! Come in!
"If you are a dreamer, come in. If you are a dreamer, a wisher, a liar, a Hope-er, a Pray-er, a Magic Bean buyer; if you're a pretender, come sit by my fire. For we have some flax-golden tales to spin. Come in! Come in!" -- Shel Silverstein

Soul Series
Ed Bacon, rector of All Saints Pasadena, one of the Giants of Justice and someone I am privileged to call a dear friend, was interviewed recently on Oprah's "Soul Series".
They talk about religion and spirituality.
You can find the first part of their discussion here.
Check it out. It's "Big Ed" doing us proud. Real proud.

I was lured here under false pretenses. I demand my money back!
I will not allow ad hominem attacks on anyone.
Oh, cut it out, fat arse!
Okay. Here it is, Maddy. You can have it back.
And, you've never seen my arse so you really can't comment on its condition. As a matter of fact, I've been told as recently as this afternoon that it is quite lovely.
Of course, I was in NYC and the gentleman in question was in an altered state of consciousness but heck, at my age, I'll take any compliment about my body from whence it comes.
Re - arse
Of course, that's what made it an ad hominem attack
If you did have a fat arse it would have been fair comment, in stead
Okay, if that is your best shot at an ad hominem attack then you must return the refund I gave you Sunday as a fine.
I was being kind, I mean, you are a friend
Yes, dear (Yes, women do it, too)
