Talking with Our Katharine
Deputy for Communication Jan Nunley speaks with Presiding Bishop Katharine Jefferts Schori for an update on the recently concluded House of Bishops meeting in Camp Allen, Texas.
I thought it was an excellent interview. I’m rather proud that she represents the Episcopal Church. She is well spoken and well versed in all the issues concerning the church. I think that she pulled us away from the petty squabbles so frequent in the news and showed us that there are other concerns of the church, especially dealing with the suffering of people in various ministries throughout the world. We tend to get lost in our own problems and forget that there global issues that need our attention.
