"Finally, I suspect that it is by entering that deep place inside us where our secrets are kept that we come perhaps closer than we do anywhere else to the One who, whether we realize it or not, is of all our secrets the most telling and the most precious we have to tell." Frederick Buechner
Come in! Come in!
"If you are a dreamer, come in. If you are a dreamer, a wisher, a liar, a Hope-er, a Pray-er, a Magic Bean buyer; if you're a pretender, come sit by my fire. For we have some flax-golden tales to spin. Come in! Come in!" -- Shel Silverstein

Breaking news: Marriage equality IS a 'Defense of Marriage'
Ms. Conroy reminded me, just a few weeks ago, that in eight years of our ministry at St. Paul's, there have been no divorces in our congregation.
None. Zero. Zip. Nada. Bupkus.
As one very wise person once said, "If you really want to protect marriage, pass a constitutional amendment banning divorce."
Somebody give me an "Amen".

Amen!
Amen, sister! But my straight bubba of a brother thinks that if my partner and I are allowed to get married it will somehow diminish his marriage. Go figure!
Amen!
Sarah and I were married almost 3 years ago. Of course, our priest refused to perform the ceremony. A few months later, another couple married with the blessings of our church. They have been separated twice and now are in the process of a divorce. Sarah and I are just as happy as we can be.
