Come in! Come in!

And the groom wore (outrageous) shoes

And so did the preacher.

Don't miss this video interview with Susan Russell, preacher at the civil union and blessing of the covenant between Gene Robinson and Mark Andrew.

Congratulations Gene and Mark. You deserve much happiness. May God continue to bless you that you may continue to be a blessing.

Neither link worked :-(.

But congratulations to all involved in the celebration!

This is great and I love the shoes!

I am reading Gene's book and was thinking about what this day must have been like as I drifted off to sleep.

God bless one and all.

Jane r - I tried both links. Twice. The first one got a "busy" comment from Google. The second one (on Walking With Integrity) worked both times. (You have to click on the link below the screen).

Hope this helps.

Fabulous footwear! That is the real problem with being straight; I could never carry those shoes off. For me it is my choice of color: black. Sometimes, as an adventure, I go with black instead. ;-)

You know, that may be the entire problem with the homophobes -- shoe envy! +Gene however can flat do it.

Congrats Mark and Gene. May your ongoing journey be blessed and joyful.

Well, I used to joke that all MY shoes look like "lesbian shoes" but all the lesbians I know have more interesting footwear than I do (um, like crocs!)...so I guess I just wear nerd shoes...

Kirkie, you gotta lighten up on the crocs thing. My beloved is tormenting me to death here and, right now, I got nothin' to come back at her with (that's a pure North Joisey sentence for ya).

When I get something else, I'll post it. Until then, ixnay on the oxray.

K? EffenA!
