"Finally, I suspect that it is by entering that deep place inside us where our secrets are kept that we come perhaps closer than we do anywhere else to the One who, whether we realize it or not, is of all our secrets the most telling and the most precious we have to tell." Frederick Buechner
Come in! Come in!
"If you are a dreamer, come in. If you are a dreamer, a wisher, a liar, a Hope-er, a Pray-er, a Magic Bean buyer; if you're a pretender, come sit by my fire. For we have some flax-golden tales to spin. Come in! Come in!" -- Shel Silverstein

WHEW!!! When I think of the old days of "Star Trek" - when do we get our transporters, etc.? But in a more serious note, what does this mean for our church? If we do not pay attention to this and reach out in new and different ways, we miss a tremendous opportunity to create a world-wide parish.
WOW-that made my head spin and gave me agita!
The following piece was at the end of the Brian williams' NBC nightly news and fits right in with your piece!

No wonder I'm so tired all the time... I am not sure I agree with Hutch - seems to me that we offer that one hour of peace and quiet in a chaotic world. Communicating with our folks can be enhanced, but I think the Holy Spirit led us to our style of worship with the peace of God in mind...
I don't think we can yet imagine what technology is able to do. Amazing.
