Come in! Come in!

"If you are a dreamer, come in. If you are a dreamer, a wisher, a liar, a Hope-er, a Pray-er, a Magic Bean buyer; if you're a pretender, come sit by my fire. For we have some flax-golden tales to spin. Come in! Come in!" -- Shel Silverstein

A wee taste of Christmas

Thanks for this, much enjoyed. A relief to be able to click and be uplifted rsther than at OCICBW where one clicks and is assaulted.

Give him a break. He's just in a bad mood - which he has every right to. Scratching around for a fight so he can feel justified. Just don't bite and he won't be able bite back.

Advent joy to absolutely everyone!

But wouldn't that be depriving him of some relief? Perhaps I should offer myself up as a token 'militant' atheist (a viper from a brood of vipers).

May you have a contemplative Advent and a joy filled Christmas. I must admit the King's College Choir is always superb. I was able to attend a concert by their neighbor, Trinity College, (a mixed voice choir) this Summer. You might like Komm, Jesu, komm by them.

Hey, Erp. You want to be the 'sacrificial viper', you go right ahead, darlin'. I'm steering clear.

Thanks for the link. Lovely.

Me thinks you misread Brian's post.

I do not think he meant that MP was attacking folks, as he has been quite pleasant. Brian meant that all the music videos currently at OCICBW... are part of Ho, Ho Phobia. So the, and I use this term loosely, music, assaults one's aural senses.

Maybe so, Dahveed. Maybe so. Then again, maybe not.

Thanks for this, I needed it badly today. King's College Choir can always open the clouds.

We are grieving for my father whose memory we celebrated the day after Thanksgiving and learned yesterday that my sister Judy will undergo a mastectomy December 28th.

Please pary for her and the family as we ponder the miracles of the Incarnation.

Oh, Gerry, I'm so very sorry. Please be assured of my prayers and the prayers of all who read this.
