"Finally, I suspect that it is by entering that deep place inside us where our secrets are kept that we come perhaps closer than we do anywhere else to the One who, whether we realize it or not, is of all our secrets the most telling and the most precious we have to tell." Frederick Buechner
Come in! Come in!
"If you are a dreamer, come in. If you are a dreamer, a wisher, a liar, a Hope-er, a Pray-er, a Magic Bean buyer; if you're a pretender, come sit by my fire. For we have some flax-golden tales to spin. Come in! Come in!" -- Shel Silverstein

St. Paddy's Tea Party
Last Sunday we took Mackie and Abby to a St. Paddy's Tea Party.
It was more fun than a barrel of leprechauns.
Tea and Irish Soda Bread were served, along with Shamrock Cookies and Wee Cupcakes all decorated with green, white and orange icing. The servers were the Wee Irish Line Dancers who also performed brilliantly for us.
Ms. Mackie made a new friend. This is Ms. Kennedy - her first name - enjoying the treats and festivities. We also made crafts and had a Treasure Hunt for a Pot 'o Gold hidden by the Leprechauns.
Ms. Kennedy and Ms. Abby were invited to try their legs at Irish Line Dancing. Ms. Kennedy was game, but Ms. Abby decided to stand and watch. She stood right there. Didn't move. In fact, the Wee Irish Dancers had to move up closer to the mirror in order to accommodate her.
You don't ever want to get her 'Irish' up.
Later, however, in the safety and security of our living room, she danced like a very gazelle. Waaaaayyyy cute.
Ah, and you know, any day is a great day to be Irish - even if you're not.

It looks and sounds like a relaxing time for you - spending some quality time with the girls.
From your words I can almost see you beaming. Good on ya!
Um, my magic word below is 'deedtoke' I kid you not.
Aye, and a grand time was had by all. Say, we are coming to RB next week, God willin' and the creek don't rise. Time for some Irish fish 'n chips on Friday night, I'd say.
It looks lovely, Elizabeth. I know that you had as much fun as the girls.
I most certainly did, Mimi - just as you do with your grands.
Beautiful. Now I want to be Irish!
