"Finally, I suspect that it is by entering that deep place inside us where our secrets are kept that we come perhaps closer than we do anywhere else to the One who, whether we realize it or not, is of all our secrets the most telling and the most precious we have to tell." Frederick Buechner
Come in! Come in!
"If you are a dreamer, come in. If you are a dreamer, a wisher, a liar, a Hope-er, a Pray-er, a Magic Bean buyer; if you're a pretender, come sit by my fire. For we have some flax-golden tales to spin. Come in! Come in!" -- Shel Silverstein

Aphorism
APHORISM: A SHORT, POINTED SENTENCE EXPRESSING A WISE OR CLEVER OBSERVATION OR A GENERAL TRUTH.
Okay, some of these are not EXACTLY aphorism, but they are wise or clever observations of a general truth.
I'm packing these and taking them with me to Anaheim - especially #5.

I really like this service, Elizabeth. I can't understand those who post (mostly to the Anglican Music list)and insist that there be little or no acknowledgement of national holidays. After all, if there hadn't been an Independence Day, there wouldn't be an Episcopal Church!
Travel with God to Anaheim and keep us all posted on EVERYTHING!!
