Archbishop of Canterbury condemns recent violence against lesbian and gay people
In response to reports of violence and threats towards Christians involved in the debate on human sexuality, the Archbishop of Canterbury has given the following statement:
“The threats recently made against the leaders of Changing Attitudes are disgraceful. The Anglican Communion has repeatedly, through the Lambeth Conference and the statements from its Primates’ Meetings, unequivocally condemned violence and the threat of violence against gay and lesbian people. I hope that this latest round of unchristian bullying will likewise be universally condemned.”

I try to keep abreast of these matters, but I must have missed the specifics of this one: what were these threats, other than the usual "gay people are evil" rumblings emanating from certain quarters, and were they against Changing Attitudes in Nigeria or somewhere else?
Well, he finally said SOMETHING I can agree with. the sad part is that he is not seeing that it is his actions that are bringing about all this violence.
INDEED... From now on I will only accept CHRISTIAN bullying, the kind we've been getting from Peter and friends all along.

The man is a doctoral student in how to say nothing while actually trying to say something, and ending up being less than helpful.
Yes, let's all accept CHRISTIAN bullying but never UNCHRISTIAN bullying.

The incredible bullying is all none Christian. I mean, consider that Dr. Williams has consecrated Jeffrey John and seated Gene Robinson, how could we suggest there is any Christian bully.........
Oh never mind, I slipped out of the crucified place there for a moment.
