Come in! Come in!

"If you are a dreamer, come in. If you are a dreamer, a wisher, a liar, a Hope-er, a Pray-er, a Magic Bean buyer; if you're a pretender, come sit by my fire. For we have some flax-golden tales to spin. Come in! Come in!" -- Shel Silverstein

Menu for Summer's Last Hurrah

L'aperitif: Bombay Sapphire Martini. Perfection. Just the way we like 'em. (Thank you, Robbie.) Served with tortilla chips and salsa.

Le repas: Alaskan King Crab Legs. Served with Mexican rice and a green salad garnished with tortilla strips and Dos Locos House (Ginger) dressing.

Le Dessert: Boston Creme Pie Cheese Cake and DELICIOUS coffee for dessert.

Le digestif: A long walk on the beach.

There aint' nothing better after dinner than cool evening sand in your toes - except, of course, the aforementioned dinner.

Ah, the perfect end to summer!

I love you, Wayne. You are a brother, sure and true. Thank you!

And now it's "Home again, home again, jiggidy jig."

Future blogging will be significantly decreased due to my return to the normal sturm und drang of life in the fast lane of parish ministry.

Deep sigh.

And now, it's out the door and back to reality. See you there!

I am grateful to have been a part of your end of holiday celebration. Our laughter that evening will linger in my being for months to come.

Those happy smiles will last a lifetime.

See you in November, or before? Call, whenever...

And Kirk, we are related by more than blood and the bond grows stronger with even short times together, be it silly or serious.
